As the
holiday buying season approaches, legwear designers are rolling out
their newest and best for both holiday dressing
and gift giving. Christmas is always a big season for the legwear industry, but in the past couple years, some manufacturers are finding their products doing well at another seasonal occasion: Halloween. Black fishnets are especially big sellers for Halloween, says Tia Tate of Americal Corporation which makes Vassarette brand fashion sheers. People are wearing them with their Halloween costumes. Fishnet sales for Halloween have been increasing each of the past few years, according to Tate. For Christmas dressing and gift giving, HUE is expecting comfort to again be a big draw. It has rolled out slipper socks, Cozies and slipper shoes for the season. Jefferies tights and socks for children sport holiday motifs to dress little ones for the season. Jefferies offers both Halloween and Christmas designs. Patterned and textured tights by Moretz Inc. make good gifts which are both fun and fashionable. And, of course, socks of all types make good gifts because they are fashionable, functional and affordable. And, no one ever has enough!
