DuPont introduced a new LYCRA®  product for sports socks.  It was developed to  give a much higher performance in elasticity, comfort and shape retention than current products.

Lycra®  and Tactel®  could be seen together in the FAST stands in their new Apparel and Textile Sciences Business Unit recently set up by DuPont to develop its textile fibers on a global level.  There were a lot of DuPont new entries at FAST, covering all sectors from ladies' tights to men's hose, sports wear and seamless lines.

Tactel® metallic is an exclusive new Tactel®  development consisting of metallic effect yarns available in 50-den gold and silver versions.

Body Scanning was presented by DuPont at Verona to illustrate DuPont's commitment to comfort.  The scanner illustrated how the body is measured properly so a  more wearable garments could be developed.
