Education: BS in Textile Technology from North Carolina State University (1975-1979)
He started at Catawba Valley Community College, Hickory, NC in 1990. He works closely with the hosiery industry to determine training needs.
Duties/Tasks:
- Writing facility and equipment specifications
- Curriculum development
- Establishment and maintenance of a Network of participating hosiery manufacturers
- Development and implementation of public relations strategies
- Recruitment and selection of instructors
- Acquisition of equipment and supplies from supplier companies
- Overall coordination of the center's activities with the hosiery industry.
