Education: BS in Textile Technology from North Carolina State University (1975-1979)
He started at Catawba Valley Community College, Hickory, NC in 1990. He works closely with the hosiery industry to determine training needs. Some of his tasks are: writing facility and equipment specifications, curriculum development, establishment and maintenance of a network of participating hosiery manufacturers, development and implementation of public relations strategies, recruitment and selection of instructors, acquisition of equipment and supplies from supplier companies, and overall coordination of the center's activities with the hosiery industry.
