The Hosiery Technology Center's Testing Laboratory performs international methods from American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC), American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), and International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Some standard procedures utilized in the HTC Testing Laboratory include colorfastness testing, performance testing, such as abrasion and pilling, and fiber identification. Antibacterial testing is now available.
Also, the Testing Laboratory is equipped with dyeing and finishing equipment for research and development.
