SPEAKER:
Lawrence Byerly CPA with Dixon Hughes PLLC
Biography:
Lawrence F. Byerly is a Tax Member in the Boone, NC office of Dixon Hughes PLLC. His responsibilities include income tax planning for business and individual clients, planning for real estate transactions, estate tax planning, and coordination and execution of other traditional tax services. Larry is also a member of both the Firm’s Physician Practice Management Group, comprised of members and managers with specific expertise and experience in assisting medical group practices, and the Dixon Hughes Construction / Real Estate Practice Group, consisting of members and managers with specific expertise and experience with real estate and constructions clients. Larry devotes much of his annual continuing education requirements to real estate taxation issues, and advanced courses in partnership and S-corporation taxation, areas that are of particular interest to him and his practice. He has over 35 years of tax experience, including prior national firm experience. Larry owned his own tax practice in Boone for 25 years before merging his firm with then Crisp Hughes Evans LLP, which later merged to become Dixon Hughes PLLC. He is a current or past member of many professional and civic organizations.
