Topic: To respond to well-publicized product safety problems over the last year, Congress and state legislatures are considering and adopting new consumer product safety legislation. Members of Congress are working now to finalize a national product safety bill and are expected to pass that legislation during the week of July 28. As currently drafted, the bill would make sweeping changes to U.S. product safety law. This webinar will be an opportunity to learn about the steps hosiery manufacturers, suppliers and testing labs will need to take in order to comply, directly from the experts – including the CPSC, which will be responsible for implementing the new regulation.
